Lindsay Lohan Accident Updates |
TMZ reports that Lohan's black Porsche crashed into the back an 18-wheeler dump truck, while she was driving it on the Pacific Coast Highway around 11:40 am on Friday.
TMZ has been told that the car's passenger window was shattered and the rear bumper was "fully off" the vehicle. There are no official word yet on the condition of the actress but "she seems okay," TMZ's source said.
Update: Police say Lindsay Lohan showed no signs of impairment after the accident. They interviewed both Lohan and the truck driver after the collision and none of them showed signs of driving under the influence. They are still conducting an investigation to determine whose fault it was.
Meanwhile, Lohan's rep say the "Mean Girls" actress was taken to a hospital a precaution and was released two hours later.
Lindsay Lohan was spotted filming Lifetime's Elizabeth Taylor biopic, "Liz & Dick," in L.A. earlier this week. She is playing the role of legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor in the movie. The biopic is scheduled to premiere on Lifetime in November.
