The said account, which attracted more than 3,000 followers, was created just today. Its owner claims that it is an official account of Slater and that he will "follow" back some Twitter users when his number of "followers" reaches 100.
And thus, fans followed the account and made a lot of tweets containing the hashtag, hoping Slater would notice them. However, fans were disappointed when they found out it was a fake account.
"Pinoy Big Brother" host Bianca Gonzalez confirmed that it is indeed a poser using the account.
"To @OfficialPBB4 friends, "imslateryoung" is a fake twitter account. slater's real twitter account is locked for privacy," Bianca tweeted.
Slater Young, a 24-year-old civil engineer from Cebu, was named winner of "Pinoy Big Brother: Unlimited" Sunday night.
