Binibini 8 Nicole Schmitz won the Binibining Pilipinas International 2012 at this year's Binibining Pilipinas pageant held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, April 15. Schmitz also took home the awards for the best in national costume and best in swimwear.
The 23-year-old Cebuana was born to a Filipina mother and German father. Already has a degree in Psychology, Schmitz is set to graduate at a Law School in Australia before the year ends. She is a keen traveler and plans to climb the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. She also loves extreme sports, white water rafting, hand gliding and dances the salsa. It is her second time to join the pageant, the first time being in 2007 when she was just 18. Joining the Bb. Pilipinas has always been top of her mind because she feels that she has a lot to offer to the pageant.
