Lilia Cuntapay to attend film festival in Italy

Veteran horror movie extra Lilia Cuntapay is now getting ready for the 2012 Far East Film Festival to be held later this month in Udine, Italy.

Cuntapay will be gracing the festival with Filipino film director Antoinette Jadaone. Their film "Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay," along with  another Pinoy movie "Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank," are among the 47 films competing in the year's edition of the festival.

Last year, 74-year-old Cuntapay took home the Best Actress trophy at the Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival for her role in "Six Degrees." The movie reaped a total of 6 awards including the Special Jury Prize and Audience Choice Award.

"Six Degrees" is a comedy mockumetary which follows the story of Cuntapay through the days leading up to a fictionalized awards night where she is nominated as a Best Supporting Actress for the very first time.
