| PMPC Star Awards 2012 Winners (For Movies) |
Laguna Governor George “ER” Ejercito's “Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story” emerged as the biggest winner this year, bagging nine awards including Movie Of The Year.
Star Cinema's "In the Name of Love" came in second with its 5 awards including the Movie Actress of the Year for Angel Locsin, Movie Actor of the Year for Aga Muhlach who shared it with Gov. ER, and Movie Supporting Actor of the Year for Jake Cuenca who tied with Baron Geisler ("Manila Kingpin").
Director Paul Soriano's "Thelma" won the major awards in the digital categories including Digital Movie of the Year and Digital Movie Director of the Year.
Hosted by Aga Muhlach, Derek Ramsay, KC Concepcion and Anne Curtis, Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards For Movies 2012 awarding ceremony will be telecast on Sunday, March 18, on ABS-CBN at 10 p.m.
