Angel Locsin Wins 2012 PASADO Awards Best Actress

Angel Locsin has won another best actress award yet again for her remarkable performance in the 2011 film "In the Name of Love." Locsin is set to receive the 2012 Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO) Awards Best Actress (Pinaka-PASADONG Aktres 2011) trophy later this month, according to reports.

Locsin had earlier won the category at the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.

Meanwhile, Locsin's  leading man Aga Muhlach will reportedly be awarded with the Best Actor (Pinaka-PASADONG Aktor 2011) at this year's PASADO.

"In the Name of Love" also won the awards' Best Picture (Pinaka-PASADONG Pelikula 2011) and Best Director (PinakaPASADONG Direktor 2011) for Olivia Lamasan. Its script writers, Enrico Santos and Olivia Lamasan, tied with "No Other Woman" writers for the "Pinaka-PASADONG Istorya" awards.

Pinaka-PASADONG Dangal ng Kabataan - Kim Chiu and Enrique Gil
Pinaka-PASADONG Simbulo ng Kagandahang Asal - Xyriel Manabat
Gawad PASADO sa Kamalayang Panlipunan - Kim Atienza
Gawad PASADO sa Paggamit ng Wika - Direk Paul Soriano

The complete list of  winners will be revealed on April 28, 2012 at a ceremony to be held at Angelicum College in Quezon City.

PASADO is an organization of teachers from various schools that believes in the power of film to educate and transform society.
