Despite having issues with the cops last week, Robin Thicke took time to record his version of the Whitney Houston hit "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)" as tribute to the late legendary singer.

“This is my tribute to the great Whitney Houston,” Thicke tweeted. “Sending my prayers to her family.”

"Exhale (Shoop Shoop)" was released in 1995 as part of the soundtrack of the movie "Waiting To Exhale."

Written and produced by Babyface, the ballad became the third single to debut on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in Billboard's history and Houston's eleventh number one single.

It later received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America after selling one million copies. It was nominated in four award categories and won the Best R&B Song award at the 39th Grammys in 1997.
