Rica Peralejo made a series of posts on Twitter expressing her concerns and opinions on Bela Padilla's FHM cover  on Sunday.

The TV host-actress tweeted the following:

"Totoo ba yung FHM cover with Bela Padilla on it?"

"Oh no. Mukhang totoo nga, Grabe I don't know why they did a peg like that. I personally think that it's being insensitive to racial issues."

"@polodagdag Yes naku Polo, nakakaloka. Hindi ko magets kung bakit nila gagawin ito."

"@TheLineyPool @polodagdag seriously though, how can they do this?In this day and age?Naipit ba sila sa isang period ng history?"

"@radikalchick oo no. sobrang nakakaloka talaga 'to. sabagay what do we expect naman fr a mag that sells women's bodies #FHMinbadtaste"

"@radikalchick preach it Ins. I DO HOPE THAT THE FILIPINOS GET HOW BAD THIS IS #FHMinbadtaste oh, the future of print....?"

"Magbabasa muna ako habang kasalukuyan kong pinakakalma ang puso ko sa nakakapangilabot na pangitain na dulot ng FHM for this afternoon."

"@radikalchick on two levels eh racism(color at gender),tapos PRINT pa! may gosh...I need a tranquilizer or something like that waaahhh."

"Ayun na,ito na ang description ko sa naramdaman ko nung nakita ko ang cover...."Na-prank ba ako?"

Rica later received a tweet from Bela Padilla which reads, "@ricaperalejo I hope you get to read the article to see the cover the way, I, and the @FHMPhil team see it :) good evening."

Rica replied back saying, "Oh hi Bela.I appreciate the effort to tell me intentions fr your end.Nevertheless,I hope u understand na maraming connotations yung ginamit na mga concepts sa cover photo, pati wording ng title. Kahit hindi yun ang ibig mo sabihin other interpretations came across precisely bec it's a hot topic,a valid socio-political concern. Hope u can talk to someone also who can open your eyes to how bad the concept of the cover was. Para na din next time, mas aware ka and make informed decisions to say yes or no to offers that will come your way."

Bela has told her Twitter followers that it was not their intention to offend anybody with the cover.

Meanwhile, FHM Philippines has decided to change the cover of its March 2012 issue featuring Bela following more allegations of racism from many netizens.
