Maan Panganiban
Former UP Fighting Maroon and UAAP courtside reporter Maan Panganiban has passed away, according to reports on Twitter.

"Farewell to a dedicated sports journalist, a passionate athlete, and a good friend. You will be missed Maan Panganiban. Till the next game.." GMA News correspondent Mark Sambrano tweeted 47 minutes past Sunday midnight.

Fr. Jboy Gonzales, SJ, the Associate Principal of the Ateneo de Manila High School, also posted, "Will offer a mass for former UPMaroons volleyball player and anchor @maanpanganiban at the Jesuit Residence community."

 ABS-CBN Sports reported that Panganiban succumbed to cancer.

Meanwhile, a News 5 Aksyon report said she died "during an emergency operation."

TV5 sports reporter Maan Panganiban was 25 years old.
