RJ Rosales (born Roseo José Rosales) kicked off his professional career in the Australian production of the popular musical "Miss Saigon" in 1996. He then moved to Singapore in 1998 where he landed title roles in several musicals including "Chang and Eng - the Musical", "The Student Prince", "Man of Letters", "Cabaret", and "Forbidden City". He also appeared on Singaporean shows such as "Spin" and "Style Doctors."
While successful in Singapore, Rosales extended his work in his home country, the Philippines, where he signed a contract with ABS-CBN. He became a part of the network's Sunday variety show "ASAP". He also appeared on now defunct Kapamilya shows like "Attagirl" and "Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka." In 2008, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his character portrayal in the Metro Manila Film Fest entry "Blue Moon."
RJ Rosales had been performing in musicals at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore during the past year.
