E-Poll collected the data from 1,100 individuals who took its survey. Fifty-three percent (53%) of the poll-takers claimed to be aware of Anthony and 94% said they disliked her.
Additionally, 57% of the respondents described Anthony as "creepy" while 60% described her as "cold."
Here are the Top 10 names that came out in the said "Most Hated Person in America" poll:
1. Casey Anthony - 94% dislike rate
2. Spencer Pratt - 88%
3. Nadya "Octomom" Suleman - 87%
4. O.J. Simpson - 85%
5. Jon Gosselin - 79%
6. Levi Johnston -75%
7. Jesse James - 71%
8. Paris Hilton - 69%
9. Heidi Fleiss - 69%
10. Howard Stern -68%
The above data came from E-Poll's E-Score Celebrity poll for the first week of August, 2011. There was no margin of error given.
E-Score Celebrity poll is being carried out weekly among a representative sample of 1,100 respondents who are at least 13 years old. It ranks more than 6,000 celebrities in terms of public awareness, appeal and 46 other attributes.
And the 2011 Douche Bag of the award goes to: Casey Anthony!

I have a hard time believing that Jon Gosselin made the list but Kate did not... and how in the hell does Heidi Fleiss make the list? what has she done to incur the hatred of the masses lately? OJ has been out of the public eye for a while too... and what about Jesse James? is it a show of solidarity for some poor dimwit who really thought she could change him from the guy she chose to marry to begin with? how did neither O'bama nor GWBush make the list? sounds like a pretty scientific poll to me....

ReplyDeleteThis does not seem like a good way to poll this topic. What was it multiple choice? No politicians in the running and you have people who do not even make the news anymore... To even be fair the poll should go to more than 1,100 people when the world consists of billions of people with different opinions, the ratio is so off base.

How pitiful is our society when there are too many candidates for the Most Hated. Anyway, I agree: It has to be Casey Anthony and Jose Baez, too--he's as bad as she is. The only news I ever want to hear about Casey Anthony is that she was found dead in a swamp with three strips of duct tape over her face.

ReplyDeleteI doubt the scientific reliability of such "polls." Casey Anthony was found not guilty because the evidence did not and could not support a conviction. The system worked the way it was supposed to. There will always be plenty of people who rush to judgment based on little or no real evidence-those who react. Most of us can remember the furor and reactionary attitudes of those who were outraged at the O.J. simpson verdict. Again this was a case where the system worked the way it was supposed to; on factual evidence;not on reactionary emtionalism. O.J. Simpson's guilt and addiction to fame ended up convicting him far more justly than any judge or jury-all we had to do was wait.(as in his book If I Did It) Ditto Casey Anthony.

Please explain why she lied to police, why she partied after her daughter died, why it took her 30 days to call the police, why she purchased chloroform, why her daughter was found in her trunk, and why she borrowed a "shovel" from a neighbor? Please explain to me why their is still not enough evidence, the jury said she was not guilty, thats does NOT mean she is innocent, then again those Jurors were puzzies
