Bagyong Mina (Tropical Depression Mina) has sustained its strength and is moving slowly towards the North, the PAGASA said through its latest bulletin.

According to the PAGASA, Tropical Depression Mina was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 320 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (15.4°N; 126.9°E), at 4 a.m. today. It is packing maximum winds of 45 kph near the center is moving at a rate of 7 kph.

There has been on public storm warning signal hoisted.

Bagyong Mina is also expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon and will bring scattered to widespread rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas, the PAGASA added.
