Maricel Soriano physically abused her maids?

Maricel Soriano has been summoned to a meeting by Barangay officials of Poblacion, Makati City after the latter received complaints of physical and verbal abuse from the former household helpers of the veteran actress. The said meeting is scheduled on July 6th.

According to an ABS-CBN report, Soriano's former maids May Cachuela and Camille Acojedo claimed that the Diamond Star "hit, kicked and threatened to shoot them after they failed to find the stuff she need for her showbiz engagement," two weeks after they were hired by the actress.

The helpers also alleged Soriano of using drugs which they believe is the reason for her unlikely behavior.

Brgy. Secretary Alex Reyes recalled that it's not the first time that they received a complaint accusing Soriano of maltreating her helpers. In February, a maid complained of non payment of salary and verbal abuse.

“However, the complainant did not bother to comeback,” Reyes reportedly said
