Jem Cubil asked for Cebu Governor's support?

Jem Cubil reportedly asked for Cebu governor Gwen Garcia's support. The Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 (PGT 2) grand finalist said to have approached the Governor personally, according to Cebu-based newspaper Sun Star.

Seventeen-year old acoustic singer Jem Cubil is from Talisay, Cebu. He hurdled the PGT eliminations easily with his talent and charm. He trended on Twitter during his Semi-finals performance and made it to Yahoo! trends on June 19 after the show made a special feature of him and other grand finalists Saturday night. A Facebook fan page of his also attracted more than 13,000 fans already.

These only mean that the teen singer has a fan based already. Asking for more support from his home-province would make him do good in the final results of the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Finals wherein the winner will be chosen based on the text voting outcome.
