Bagyong Falcon (Tropical Storm Falcon) is now moving at kph in a Northwest direction and has maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.
The weather disturbance was last spotted at 390 km East of Tuguegarao City at 10 p.m. on June 23.
Public Storm Signal Number 1 (PSWS # 1) has lowered in some areas but are still hoisted over the following:
Isabela,
Cagayan including Calayan,
Babuyan Group of Islands,
Batanes Group of Islands.
Again, people living in low lying and mountainous areas under PSWS # 1 are cautioned for flashfloods and landslides. The PAGASA added that Bagyong Falcon is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon and will bring rains over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Gale warning has also been issued over the eastern seaboard of the country and the western seaboard of Luzon and of Visayas.
Will "Falcon" hit on land? According to PAGASA's forecast of Falcon's track, it may not happen.
