Willing Willie host, Willie Revillame Photo courtesy of TV5Six (6) members of the group called Stop Child Rights Exploitation in Media have filed a lawsuit against Willing Willie host Willie Revillame and TV 5 officials for violating several laws such as Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Axploitation, and Discrimination Act; RA 9775 or the Act Defining the Crime of Child Pornography; and RA 9231 or An Act Eliminating the Worst Forms of Child Labor.
This is in connection with the controversial March 12 episode of Willing Willie where 6-year old JanJan Suan who was crying while he was performing a macho dancing act on the show.
Willie Revillame, TV5 chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, and some officials of the broadcast company were named as respondents in the child abuse complaint.
TV 5 has not received a copy of the complaint and thus, they decline to give a comment on the case at the moment.
It's really sad and unfair for these organizations to single out willing willie when in fact there's a lot of tv shows shown in other tv networks which show more unbecoming acts of children. For example, the 8 year old girl who performed belly dancing during the audition of Pilipinas Got Talent Season2. The girl was wearing a bra, her face and hair fully made up to make her look older while seductively dancing to the music. She even got a "yes" vote from the 3 judges. Sadly, nobody commented about it. At least the boy who danced in willing willie was fully clothed. What's the difference between a fully clothed boy macho dancing in willing willie and a half clothed young girl belly dancing in Pilipinas Got Talent? Both of them were dancing sexy dances not appropriate for their ages. But why single out the boy?
ReplyDeleteIf these organizations are really sincere in protecting our children's rights, the rules should apply to everyone else including all other tv networks. Singling out a particular tv show is discriminating and very unfair. This only confirms the suspicion of many that there's something fishy about this case.
these groups are the minions of abs-cbn. they are lunatic people that belongs to pnoys group. kris and her brother are both mentally-sick. they hate willie because he was pro-villar..

there are so many shows in manila, even gaybars, prostitution den, gambling dens and drug dens yet they dont do anything about them. these joints have more impact on the children yet they dont lift a finger...

to those six members,pls. go around manila,and pls extend helps to children risking their lives on the streets selling sampaguita garlands and "palaspas" on a late saturday night...just to prove that you are not just singling out on that willing-willi incident.

They always say the money he gave to his show is not his money, all you fucking moron he earn those money from the asvertiser for a good job his done to his show you fucking loser, get a life and smell the coffee loser. I’m not surprise about their move after all these day they just file their case because they learn that Willing Willie is about to come back. These people they need to go to hell and their case just be thrown by the court trust me on these one amen.

ng willie of willie is proffessional tv host i do not see any malice in him he is honest sincere and firm on the way he deal with people
if he made mistake i am sure he is learning
by his mistakes that is why he is successful
please let him come back to the show we miss him
he give enjoyment and fun to us senior citizens
for those accuser please help those children who
are hungry and who are abuse in their family
and the abandoned children that is where you all
are to help okay?
