Philippine Azkals' Phil Younghusband asked "Imortal" lead actress Angel Locsin for a Valentine's date this February 14! Whew! And he said this invitation in the social networking site Twitter where his thousands of 'followers' get to read.
Using @PhilYHusband, Younghusband tweeted to Angel Locsin's Twitter account @143redangel this,
“Hi Angel! This Phil. How are you? I was just wondering if you are free for Valentines day?”
This created quite a stir prompting Angel Locsin to respond to Phil Younghusband's tweet. But unfortunately, Angel has to turn down the invitation. Angel Locsin tweeted,
“hi! this is angel☺ Congrats on your win last night! Tnx for the invite but I have work on valentines.. Let’s try another day☺”
The fans of both celebrities just can't help but to react including some showbiz personalities:

ReplyDeleteyou know what pilipino ka you should use and converse your pilipino language proudly ,kaya di tayo umuunlad ung di atin inaangkin natin sobrang yabang sana mag post ka diretsong english...at magsalita ka sa kakabayan natin ng diretsong english..eventhough philam yan, teach them your own language hindi tayo ung nakikibagay sa kanila..kaya mo ba tapatan ung trabaho nya at lis bata pa may income na kahit artista ok? ikaw kaya mo ba magpundar ng mraming pera kakaenglish mo? he he he wake up and face the reality ok?
ReplyDeletesobra mo naman yurakan ung pagkatao ng kapwa mo,mismong kababayan mo pa, ang hirap sa atin masyado tayo mapanghusga sa kapwa natin..pano na lang ung mahihirap na hindi nakapag-aral ganyan din ba tingin mo sa kanila..they even don't what is dictionary perse..you're pulling her(angel locsin) down imbis na maging proud ka pa na may nagkakagusto sa kanya siguro ikaw ang may gusto..though may itsura ka, may pinag-aralan ka, may sinasabi ka sa buhay, sana ikaw ung nakakaintindi ng husto..siguro ikaw ung tipong pagnakakita ng mahirap o gusgusin sa lansangan instead of helping and pulling them up, you pulling them down..

ReplyDeleteThat is true no one should criticize Ms. Angel in her English flaws. Beside, she is not required to do so since she is not working in a corporate or business where English communication is a must.Anyways, it is an informal communication so it's acceptable if her English is not perfect.. How would you know that someone's language is perfect even if Phil came from Great Britain or US the two empire which pionereed English you cannot say when they speak everything being said is grammatically correct though they are spontaneous. Tayo nga Pilipino in our own language,at times the the coherence and gramatical structure of our sentences is also erroneous..

para sa akin.hindi nasusukat kung mayaman ka o mahirap at may pinag aralan o wala.kung gusto mo ang isang tao wala magagawa ang iba tao siraan sila.dahil hindi sila ang may gusto.masasabi ko lang si angel nag aral sa ust(university of san tomas)at kinder siya may honor siya.bago kayo manira o manghusga.basahin ninyo o alamin ninyo ang pagkatao niya.kay phil naman kahit hindi ko masyado kilala.tingin ko pa lang mabait siya at kahit hindi siya marunong magtagalog.marunong siya rumespeto ng babae.mahal din niya pamilya niya.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin who happens to sit beside Angel Locsin while heading for hk told me that she had the opportunity to have a conversation with Angel while on board. And according to her, Angel has good head on her shoulders.
