Tia Pusit Is Dead: Comedienne Dies At 66

Tia Pusit has died Thursday night, October 2. She was 66 years old.

The veteran comedienne, whose real name is Myrna Villanueva, was declared dead by her doctors at 11:29pm at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City, her half sister, actress Nova Villa, said in a statement.

Tia Pusit underwent a couple of bypass surgeries last month for her heart ailment. She was also suffering from a kidney disease and blood complications.

The entertainer is survived by her four children, who she  raised all by herself after her husband passed away 20 years ago.
