Local clothing brand Bench held the first night of its Bench Universe Denim And Underwear Show at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena on Thursday, September 13, 2012.

The event featured several brand ambassadors of Bench including Kim Chiu, Jake Cuenca, Manny and Jinkee Pacquaio, Karylle Tatlonghari, Enchong Dee, Love Poe, Georgina Wilson, Aljur Abrenica, Julia Montes, Rayver Cruz, Jason Francisco, Melai Cantiveros, Christian Bautista, Diether Ocampo, Bela Padilla, Sam Concepcion, Benjamin Alves, among others.

Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco also showcased his creations for the brand at the highly anticipated fashion show.

Former "America’s Next Top Model" (ANTM) contestants Allison Harvard and Dominique Reighard also returned to Manila for the show.

The second night of the Bench Universe will be happening tomorrow, still at the SM MOA Arena.

The fashion event celebrates the silver anniversary of the clothing line.

Kapamilya actors Enchong Dee, Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson, Rayver Cruz and Xian Lim will be holding a series of show in the United States this year. They will be joined by singer Young JV and comedienne Pokwang.

Dubbed as "The Teleserye Bida US Tour," the shows will be held at the following venues:

The telenovela that started it all, Thalia's "Maria la del Barrio" will be remade by ABS-CBN this Summer 2011 with Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee taking the lead roles.

Enchong Dee helps Simon Atkins and Kim Chui to meet in person

Kapamilya young actor Enchong Dee reportedly facilitated a meet-up between UAAP basketball player Simon Atkins and actress Kim Chui.

Enchong, who is also from De La Salle University like Simon and who won many swimming competitions for the school, was said to have asked through a phone call by his swimming coach to introduce Simon to Kim personally.

Kim is yet to be interviewed on how her first encounter with Simon went.

Simon Atkins headlined entertainment news recently after posting a series of post in the social media site Twitter telling how he wanted to meet the beautiful young actress Kim. They were able to talk over the phone but were not able to meet personally until this.

Is Enchong Dee Gay?

A couple of days ago, I happened to watch an episode of Juicy on TV5 and there was this blind item. The issue was that of a young actor claiming in an interview that he is courting a young actress but then in a separate interview, the young actress denied it. The host were also reenacting this gesture of him which they find so gay. It seemed like the hosts were so sure that he is indeed gay. The clues given were: a swimmer, a vitamin in his name, and currently has a movie showing.
For me, the clues point to Enchong Dee since he is a swimmer and stars on 'I Do' which is the only Pinoy movie I know that will be shown in theaters this week. Perhaps, the other clue is Vitamin D which denotes to his last name, Dee.
