Anne Curtis Talks About Upcoming International Movie (Video)

Anne Curtis is making her Hollywood dream come true as she is currently filming her first international movie titled "Blood Ransom," working alongside several U.S. TV actors.

Before she left for Hollywood, it appears that Anne gave a short interview to her Viva family.

In the video interview released today, Anne says she is "super duper excited to find out what the story is, who I'm gonna be working with, and to see how it is working in the States and super duper excited."

When asked whether she would leave her life in the Philippines to pursue her Hollywood dream, Anne said she is not certain yet and that she has to "ponder about (it) because you know, my life is here."

Anne will be portraying the role of Crystal, who will reportedly be kidnapped in the movie.

Anne Curtis' 'Blood Ransom' Film Confirmed

Anne Curtis is set to star in a Hollywood movie titled "Blood Ransom."

Curtis finally confirmed the project through an Instagram photo (left), which she posted on her official Twitter account on Wednesday.

In a separate tweet, the actress also denied earlier reports that she is the only Filipino cast in the film.

"Blood Ransom" is reportedly a crime thriller and is being helmed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre, the director of Jericho Rosales' Hollywood movie "Subject: I Love You." Among the movie's cast are several U.S. TV actors including Dion Basco, Clifton Powell, Emily Skinner, Caleb Hunt, Jamie Harris, Sven Holmberg, among others.

Anne Curtis' Hollywood Movie Is Titled "Blood Ransom"?
Anne Curtis has been cast in a Hollywood movie, the reason why she temporarily left her noontime show, "Showtime" more than a week ago, according to reports.

The title of Anne Curtis' Hollywood movie is reportedly "Blood Ransom" and it is being helmed by Filipino-American director Francis dela Torre. Anne will be the only Filipino cast in the crime thriller.

Anne will be gone for a month to shoot the film. She will be coming back on "Showtime" after the shoot and will be working on her upcoming drama series on ABS-CBN, "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw," which will star her alongside with Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla, upon her comeback. She is also set to continue her "No Other Concert" Philippine tour which has been staged in Manila, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro, so far.

Despite the reports, Anne has been mum about the Hollywood project.

Anne Curtis To Star In Hollywood Movie?

Anne Curtis is temporarily leaving her noontime show "It's Showtime" to "pursue her dream."

The actress did not gave any detail about what this "dream" is when she bade farewell to her "It's Showtime" family on Thursday but she said it is something "challenging."

"It’s something to do with pursuing my dream. It’s a new chapter in my life, something that’s challenging. I just really, really want to do it," she said.

According to TV host and entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz, it's Curtis' Hollywood dream that she is set to pursue.

Citing a source, Diaz said on Twitter that Anne has been cast in a Hollywood movie.

"Truth: 1 month mawawala sa bansa si Anne Curtis dahil naka-cast siya sa isang Hollywood film. Full length ang role," Diaz said on Twitter. "Truth: naghahanap ng isang Pinay ang isang sikat na Hollywood casting director at si Anne Curtis ang napili. Excited si Anne."

He added: “Pag ininenay yan ni Anne Curtis eh sinungaling ang source namin. Ayaw pa raw kcng (sic) ipasabi.”

But Anne denied Diaz' tweets.  "Mali po kayo," she told Diaz.

However Diaz was not convinced. "Ok. Let’s just wait and see. Pag mali source ko, magsosori ako. Pano pag tama?" he tweeted. FULL STORY...
