A 3-year-old girl woke up during her own funeral at a church in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur on Saturday.

A source told NoypiStuff that the toddler was declared clinically dead at a local health clinic at around 9 am on Friday, which prompted her family to arrange her funeral at 1pm the next day.

During the funeral mass prior to her burial, her family went into commotion when they noticed that the little girl started to move her head --they also felt the child's pulse. And thus, her father immediately took her out the coffin and cuddled her in his arms.

Below is a video of the jaw-dropping incident over the weekend:
Update: On Monday, Dr. Mary Silyne Asor-Cabahug, the Municipal Health Officer of Aurora, used a cardiac monitor to assess the condition of the 3-year-old girl who came back to life at her own funeral. She found no signs of life and confirmed that the child is dead. Dr. Cabahug advised the kid's parents to bury the dead body soon to prevent diseases.

  2. I am not a medical person. I think the child was not dead in the first place. My mother told me people were placed in mortuaries when appeared dead but still alive. I promised not to let that happen to her. People should not be buried as soon as they are assumed dead.

  3. I'm thinking that maybe the "cardiac monitor" is broken. The doctors want her buried before she wakes up again. Poor baby#

  4. I'm so confused...was she actually alive at the funeral? And if so, what caused her to die after that?
This article doesn't give much information.

  5. This is why no one needs to be imbombed there are many cases like this that Dr.'s have no idea as to why but once your blood is replaced with imbombing fluid then the body has no way to recoup back to a life form

  6. That's sad :( just an FYI, though, bodies that are not embalmed often make lifelike movements for several hours up to a couple of days post mortem due to trapped gasses that cause the muscles to shift and move. Not being a trained medical professional, they probably just thought they felt a pulse because of seeing her move and the emotions in the moment. It's heartbreaking to think they dealt with losing a child, then found renewed hope that it was all a mistake just to have loss happen to them all over again.

  7. it is just purely these people depended on machine which can break down and mal-function anytime. Do they have sophisticated machine to rely on? If they are good enough to get the pulse and knowledgeable in natural healing, this will not happen. lack of proper training i may say. So if you always depended on unexperienced doctors, good luck to your life.
