| Bong Pascasio passes away |
Pascasio's daughter, Gege, broke the news on Facebook saying, "May you rest in peace dad. I love you so much and we will miss you... You legend!"
According to a Facebook page of the OPM icon,
Pascasio died of colon cancer at 8:26 a.m. on Saturday.
Pascasio was hospitalized earlier this year due to chronic abdominal disease. He also underwent a surgery to remove a tumor from his small intestines.
Grin Department was a popular band in the 1990s. They were able to release 4 albums. Among their hit songs were "Barkada" and "Miss U."
Geneviere "Bong" Pascasio's death came just barely 8 months after the passing of another Pinoy music icon Karl Roy, who died due to heart attack in March.
