Rumors about the upcoming Macbook Pro continue to pile up, especially now that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), where the next generation Apple notebook is expected to be unveiled, draws near.

According to latest Macbook Pro rumors, the new machine will have a retina display - the same technology present in the new iPad - and will run on Intel’s new processors, code-named Ivy Bridge.

Other rumors include a 15-inch display, with a USB 3.0 port, with pre-installed OS X 10.8 “Mountain Lion,” and a slimmed-down body design.

Adding to these speculations are new discount for Apple products at Best Buy. Reports say that tech retailer has recently cut the price of a number of Apple products, including MacBook Pros, by $20 to $200. It has been observed that Best Buys discounts hint the release of a new Apple product.

WWDC 2012 is scheduled to be held at Moscone West, San Francisco from June 11 to June 15, 2012.
