After his successful pair-up with Kim on "My Binondo Girl," Xian became more visible in commercials, more recently with a popular fast-food chain. The actor also signed recently a 3-movie contract with Star Cinema, including one with Kim. He also is now preparing to launch his music career through a debut recording album.
Xian also landed on the covers of magazines, with the most recent on Star Studio which predicted that he will be one of the breakout stars of 2012.

Been waiting for Xian to acknowledge that "being so gracious/grateful" for Kim Chiu for a long period of time - If you may recall in his past interviews like in Adobo Nation wherein he seems to forget that it was really in "My Binondo Girl" where he was made into where he is rt now . Thanks soo much to Kim ' Even the hosts of Adobo Nation reiterated that even before MBG Kim was already a Big Star - a superstar already when they were paired. But Xian chose to say that they were already friends even before. The bottom line here is that he cld have said otherwise like yes - b/c of Kim Iam where Iam - GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE - AS SIMPLE AS THAT. Sorry I'm not bashing Xian it's just that He seems to forget IT ALL STARTED w/ his pairing w/ Kim Chiu & he sld not dilly-dally abt this - Try to get the Adobo Nation interview w/ Xian as proof. A lot of Kim's fans rally behind Kim/Xi EVEN though Kim can stand on her own w/0 a loveteam. She's passed this for 4 yrs w/GE. It's been soo traumatic alre4ady look where she's heading - another loveteam again. And IF something happens along the way - she'll be used again - & she'll be left again in the hanging of no return - thus making those who left her became Big Star c/o Kim. Good thing abt. GE & Enchong knew how to give thanks everytime they're asked this thing; Another thing Just wonder HOW come many a times Xian's name is always ahead of Kim's name - REMEMBER Guys Kim has been in the Industry for 6 long yrs PLUS SHE' A BIG STAR ALREADY .. .Xian always reasons out that their Team-up Sucess is b/c of Chemistry - Fair Enough BUT their Tandem was supported by not ONLY the Kim-Xi BUT EVEN KIMSTERS. What I'm saying here is Xian sld be MORE open in acknowledging KIM AS THE GREAT FACTOR WHY HE IS A BIG STAR RT NOW . Hope in his next interviews we'll see a different Xian - NOT only make "pakilig" to Kim-Xi & other fans of Kim BUT be true to what he says & do...
