"The Voice of the Philippines" champion Jason Dy died in a car accident, claims a malicious link that has been making rounds on Facebook lately.

To all fans of the singer, you have nothing to worry about since it is all a hoax. Dy himself took to Twitter to debunk the false news.

"Good morning! People are still calling me asking if I'm still alive. Yes guys I'm alive and well. Have a great day everyone!," Dy tweeted Tuesday.

However, if you happen to have clicked the link, you might need to check your timeline if it was posted without you knowing and delete it right away. Usually links containing false information contain malwares which will hijack your account hence they circulate.
