Vhong Navarro's "It's Showtime" family offered a moment of silence and a prayer last Saturday for the comedian who is recovering after a brutal attack.

“Thanks to all our Kapamilya who were with us last night to pray and who expressed their love for Vhong,” said Vice Ganda in Filipino during the noontime show’s opening. “We are thankful that Vhong is still alive and he’ll still be with us.”

“Vhong, we’re here for you. We’d like to take this moment to pray for you,” a tearful Anne Curtis said before leading the prayer for her co-host.

Messages of support for Vhong from celebrities and fans also flooded social media, making the hashtag #PrayForVhongNavarro top Twitter’s worldwide trending topics.

@SuperIDee posted, “Pray for Vhong’s fast recovery and for justice. Be strong & get well! We love you!”

“God knows that Vhong is great guy. He knows how Vhong treasures people in his life. We love you Vhong. #PrayForVhongNavarro,” added @_zxcvicerylle.

Vhong will temporarily not be seen on “It’s Showtime” as he continues to recover, said his manager, director Chito Rono.
