Rihanna sparkled during the Manila leg of her "Diamonds World Tour" held at SM Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday night, September 19.

Despite waiting for her to come out for about an hour after the opening act featuring American DJ tandem GTA was finished, fans left the concert venue with high spirits as the music icon offered mesmerizing performances during the 100-minute show.

Donning a white jacket and baggy shorts over a sexy mesh onesie, Rihanna opened her Manila concert with a swaggy performance of "Mother Mary," from her latest album "Unapologetic."

"Manila, how you all feeling tonight? Now this is my second time here. The first time was a really long time ago, but I did not forget," she said after the first song.

As the show progressed, the 25-year-old Barbadian singer stripped off her jacket and shorts and performed more of her hits including "Umbrella," "We Found Love," "Where Have You Been" "You Da One," "Don't Stop The Music," "Only Girl," "Man Down," "Rock Star," "S&M," "Presh off the Runway," "Birthday Cake," "Talk That Talk," "Cockiness," "Rude Boy," "Numb," "All Of The Lights," "What Now," "Loveee Song" and "Stay." She closed the show with "Diamonds," which got the crowd dancing and singing.

Among those who watched the concert were local celebrities Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kathryn Bernardo, Bianca Gonzalez, Kim Chiu, among others.

Riri's first Manila visit was in 2008 for her "Good Girl Gone Bad Tour." The concert featured her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, as special guest.
