South Korean pop star PSY, who rose to fame through his YouTube record-breaking video "Gangnam Style," is coming to the Philippines to stage a one-night only concert this December.

PSY to perform live in Manila
Dubbed "The Gangnam Show: PSY LIVE in Manila," the internet sensation's concert will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on December 20, 2012.

Apart from PSY, the show will also feature local celebrities including Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Chocoleit, Pokwang, Pooh, K Brosas, Wally Bayola & Jose Manalo, Ate Gay, and Ai Ai Delas-Alas.

Tickets to the concert are now available at SM Tickets outlets and are priced as follows: VIP (Reserved Seating) - P5,810; Gold (Free Seating) - P3,700; Silver (Standing) - P1,590; and Bronze (Standing) - P530.

The music video of PSY's phenomenal hit "Gangnam Style" has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "Most Liked Video On Youtube." It has also broken the record for the most viewed video on the popular video sharing site recently after surpassing the number of views achieved by the visual of Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber's single, "Baby."

PSY found himself in controversy recently after the lyrics of an anti-American rap song he performed during a 2002 protest in Seoul were posted online. He allegedly rapped about "slowly and painfully" killing American soldiers and their families. PSY has issued an apology regarding the matter, saying the lyrics "was part of a deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two Korean schoolgirls that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment shared by others around the world at that time."
